For 11 years Mineshaft magazine has been publishing art, comix, letters, and literature. The editors and publishers aren't paid and we don't sell advertisements. The magazine is printed the old fashioned way on offset press, assembled by hand, and we use high quality recycled paper. Some of the world's greatest artists, from R. Crumb to Kim Deitch, contribute generously to the magazine for free. Help us to continue publishing in the underground tradition and help us to survive the Cyber age by subscribing to Mineshaft or donating to our operating costs below. Mineshaft currently, in the autumn of 2009, has 161 subscribers around the world. It costs us about $600 dollars to mail out one issue of the magazine to subscribers, contributors, and bookshops. The printing cost of publishing the next issue of the magazine will be around $2,500 dollars. Any donations will go directly to helping us pay for postage and the printing bill for the magazine. We sincerely believe that Mineshaft can not only continue to survive, but can give back to the community and help others to survive through hard work and with the help of some of you generous and enlightened people out there. -Everett & Gioia
